Our President, James Pugliese founded The Better Golf Academy Kids twenty years ago with a strong to desire to simplify the golf swing and the teaching method for children of all ages. James’ teaching philosophy that “the more simple the swing, the more repeatable” works! By using a basic swing model described, as “effective, simple, and smart” James is able to have children hitting the golf ball accurately by the end of their first lesson. And that’s The Better Golf Academy’s goal! A graduate of Columbia University, James applies his teaching methods to each student’s skill level. Instructor’s at The Better Golf Academy will discover your child's natural ability and will teach him or her the proper fundamentals of the golf swing!  Because of our long established history in the industry, & the excellent quality of our programs, The Better Golf Academy is able to teach many celebrities and their children, and able to partner with the best & biggest names in golf and children's products. Today, James Pugliese continues to inspire young athletes to explore the game of golf by actively teaching and training at the Academies, Elementary Schools, & Golf Tournaments.  James Pugliese was recently Honorably Mentioned as a Top 50 Kids Teacher by U.S. Kids Golf.

Wrote, produced, and hosts The Better Golf Academy Presents Better Golf for Kids,
Volume I. This DVD retains national and international distribution and is currently being sold in major retail outlets worldwide, and is available in many public libraries. This DVD is currently on many Bestseller Lists and is highly recommended for Junior Golfers by many media veterans. The Better Golf For Kids DVD is used internationally by many junior golf programs & teaching professionals, including certain chapters of The First Tee!

The Better Golf Academy teaches many A-List Celebrities & their Children. The BGA teaches & sponsors many prominent junior tour players including many VCJGA Winners and Top-Ten finishers!

The BGA is an active advocate for golf in the community. We realize that the gift of golf is a gift of a lifetime.
