BGA is expanding & welcomes Kenny Mellor as our newest Regional Director!

ImageKenny is our Regional Director of Louisiana - our newest Better Golf Academy Region! He graduated from the University of New Orleans with multiple degrees and an entrepreneurial attitude. Ever since getting involved with golf at the age of 7 he has had a passion for the game and now has a passion for teaching it to others. Kenny has been an instructor/director of youth athletic programs in the New Orleans area since 2007 and in 2010 did a stint as an assistant golf instructor in New York. He looks forward to introducing many to the game of golf and enhancing the experience for others.

BGA welcomes Dr. David Brandt to its Staff!

ImageDavid is now our Regional Director of California’s coastal communities from Santa Barbara down through northern Los Angeles.  David, a former professor, scientist and entrepreneur, brings a lifetime of golf experience that began at the age of 12 as a caddie at the world-renowned Oakland Hills Country Club, known as “The Monster”.  Oakland Hills CC has been the host to 14 PGA events including 6 US Opens, 3 PGA Championships, 2 US Senior Opens, and the Ryder Cup.  In the 1979 PGA, David had the privilege of caddying for Bruce Lietzke where they were 1 shot off the lead of David Graham and Ben Crenshaw in the final round, finishing in the top 10.  David is a disciple of the game and passionate about to bringing the game he loves to beginners of all ages and individuals looking to improve their enjoyment of the game.

 
BGA welcomes Brendan Barry to its Staff!

ImageBrendan Barry recently graduated from Coastal Carolina University's Professional Golf Management program with a degree in Business Management. After completion of the Professional Golf Management program, he was elected to the PGA in June of 2013. 

Starting his career at a public course outside of Boston, he then moved up north for a summer to work at a prestigious resort in Northern Michigan, working his way back down to South Carolina for the University's golf course, then completed his required work experience at a private country club outside of New York City. Brendan is now the Regional Director of Massachusetts for the Better Golf Academy.

The Better Golf Academy Kids is an "International Sensation!” The Better Golf Academy has more locations than most bonafide Golf Academy’s worldwide! The Better Golf Academy offers national & International after school at-school golf enrichment programs which are available to you and unmatched for value and performance.

 

 BGA founder James Pugliese is currently working with Carlo Arvisu of the Philippines growing the game of golf in schools, colleges, and universities through out metro Manila.

 

 

 

Better Golf Academy Kids ZimbabweKushinga Bvute is our International Regional Director of Zimbabwe. She will be working with James Pugliese and staff in growing The Better Golf Academy Zimbabwe through out schools, golf courses, and inside her newly launched Golf Superstore. This is a nationwide first for Zimbabwe. BGA Zimbabwe will also be transitioning students to a BGA Junior Golf Tour of Zimbabwe to experience the countryside, bring families together, to create an "Open" tournament, to experience competition, to practice good sportsmanship and integrity, to think on the golf course, to build dreams, and to have fun.
